The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHS) requires all businesses to comply with basic safety regulations to confirm to the standards of a safe working environment.
Nexim Solutions offers our client a complete service in terms of the OHS act. The process is kicked off by a Base Audit. This audit entails us doing an inspection of the premises to ascertain what the current compliancy levels are. We then compile a variance report to show our client exactly what has to be done to comply with the OHS act. Then every six months thereafter we do a Grading/Progress Audit which will determine whether the OHS standards are being abided by. We then also provide a report in terms of each audit. These reports can be used when inspections from the Department of Labour are conducted. Presently these inspectors are conducting spot checks and can arrive at your door unannounced.
